Shelby, Staff, Lily and Hannah and Miss Anistyn

I promise I have been trying to post new blogs but had to work out some kinks in my system!

Shelby, Senior 2010

Shelby actually won my facebook 1000th fan contest and I was so excited.  Shelby brought in her mom, grandmother and 2 little sisters to the photo shoot.  You can tell they are extremely close.  To listen to their story, they are fortunate to have each other.  Shelby is a sweet, sweet girl with a great big heart.  Here are a few from her session.

Staff

We finally took some updated portraits of my staff-Lisa and Tori.  This was needed, especially since Lisa has worked so hard to lose weight.  She doesnt' even look like the same person. Lisa is still the friendly voice you hear on the phone making appointments, keeping us organized and basically keeping me sane.  Tori still handles some of the photoshop magic, framing and keeping the Stephens kiddos in line.  I appreciate them both so much as I would not be able to do what I love to do everyday if it weren't for them.

Lily & Hannah

Lily & Hannah just turned 9 months.  I think they have the sweetest mom ever!  I feel so blessed to have met their beautiful family!  Erin has already joined our Lil Dudes and Princess program-so I look forward to many more years of watching these 2 cuties grow up!  Here are just a few from their cute session.

Miss Anistyn turns One!

Oh, how I love Miss Anistyn.  She will forever be the first 6 month old to belly laugh at me-so she holds a pretty special place in my heart! Here are a few from her one year session!

I'm gonna stop for now.  I would love to have a comment or two just to let me know I have actual real life people reading this!

Jenny 2010, Leah, Kelley Family and The Affair of the Heart

What can I say about Jenny, a senior from CCS.  She is gorgeous, cute, pretty, beautiful, fun-yep, just fill in all of the nice adjectives-that would describe her!  Here is just a sneak peek at a few just for her momma who was dying to see them.

Oh Miss Leah is 4!  Isn't she just an absolute doll!  I have been photographing Miss Leah since she was a baby-she has only gotten prettier!  When we first began, she wasn't feeling like herself.  Luckily my 4 year old Hadyn was here to cheer her up!  They became fast buddies!  I am pretty sure Leah would have rather gone to play with Hadyn, but she was a trooper and stuck around with me.

The Kelley Family-we actually took these pictures at Christmas and they sent out over 100 Christmas cards-wow!  This is the 20x20 standout we designed just

for them.  I love it!

The Affair of The Heart was a success.  We saw a ton of our current customers/friends and made some new ones!  Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello or book their spring session.  2010 should be an awesome year!  Well, at least if we can get past this loopy weather we are having-it just can't decide what it wants to do!  I know what I want it to do and apparently we are not on the same page!

Thanks again, hope everyone has a great week!

Welcome to the K-Blog!

Yee-haw!!!! Our K-blog is back up and running.  Lets hope I do not receive over a thousand spam messages a day like we did on our original K-blog!  We have been very busy these past few months.  Thank you for making 2009 such a success!  We look forward to what 2010 will bring to both us and our friends & family.

Since I need to start somewhere, I thought I would begin with a few portraits that were taken at our 2nd Annual Boo-tiful Halloween Charity Event.  We always have so much fun, it is truly one of our very favorites.  A big "Thank you" goes to those who brought in your lil ghosts and goblins.  We are planning on holding the 2nd Annual Easter Charity Event held at Lil Dudes and Divas sometime before Easter.  When the details become more concrete, I will fill you in.

Now on to our busiest season of the year-Christmas!  Whew!  This is the time of year where we get to see our favorite families return plus meet new ones.  We designed some adorable, beautiful, fun Christmas cards this year.  If you would like to stand out in the many Christmas cards that are sent out each year, just let us design one especially for you and your family.  Our clients tell us that their friends and family look forward to receiving their cards each year.  That is the best compliment we can receive.

Come see us at "The Affair of The Heart" this weekend.  We will be in the Cox Pavilion building, booth #131C.  As always, we will have our appointment book so if you would like to stop by and schedule an upcoming session, you will receive a $50 gift certificate.  We look forward to our friends stopping by each time, it makes our weekend go by a lot faster when we see friendly faces.

I think I will stop here for now.  From here on out, I will be blogging about recent appointments or any changes or updates at the studio.  Thank you so much for your continued support and loyalty!
